There are no valves, solenoids, clutches or torque converters. The fluid level does not need to be checked unless you see it leaking on the ground. I have not seen a leak reported in any 2010-12 Ford hybrids. My 2010 FFH is now at 240k miles and I've never done anything with the transmission fluid and never had an issue.
