Amicalola EMC experienced widespread scattered power outages on Saturday, Feb. 8 in nine of the ten counties served by the electric cooperative, primarily caused by trees and tree limbs on power lines due to the weight of snow accumulation. There were a total 1467 members who experienced a power outage.
