I'm not so sure the Modi is a good representation of what Schiit is capable of. I've heard the Bifrost is a decent DAC and is probably more than a few notches above the Modi. Interesting. I'm interested in a Modi Multibit to replace a dragonfly Red. Both the Red and the built in DAC in the Hegel are on both sides of where I'd like to be.

Another choice would be to find a Schiit multibit DAC that doesn't have a remote control. Like a used Gungnir multibit or used Yggdrasil.
