Xfinity cable box not turning on

i'm experiencing the same issues. Sometimes, turning on everything with the remote, the cable box does not display anything. I have only one HDMI input so I use a spilter. turning on the device on the other input and then turning it off usually fixes it but sometimes, I have to physically reboot the box (unplug power).
