Eater NY - José Andrés’s Eastern Mediterranean Hit Zaytinya Has Arrived in NYC The Ritz-Carlton's Second New York Hotel Opens This Week — With a José Andrés Restaurant, Incredible City Views, and a 45th-floor Speakeasy + Zaytinya fries ($8) - 5/10 - Very well-fried fries, but I was honestly expecting way more for the mushroom salt and roasted garlic yogurt. I did not taste any mushroom salt and the roasted garlic flavor was VERY faint in the tangy yogurt sauce. It really felt like I was eating normal fries with a thick yogurt sauce. Zaytina is by far my favorite Jose Andres restaurant in the area, with the others ranging from horrific to good. It's probably also one of the most popular restaurants in DC and has a great location too, so it's really advisable to make a reservation before visiting.
